I'd always known what Noise Singapore was about because being into graphic design, I suppose it was one of those things which ran in my circles. However, it never fails to amaze me how amazing some of these artwork are. I especially love the notebooks on display, filled with sketches, scraps and memories. The concept for this exhibition is "OH HAPPY DAY", so a lot of the exhibits are happy and immensely colourful. I've met quite a few interesting people, and it's just my first day of work. If you guys live, study or work in the area, do drop by! And if you're an artist/designer/photographer/musician, you might want to check out the Noise Singapore 2013 competitions. They have an open category and a mentorship program currently open for entries and the prizes/mentors are really, really impressive. So do check it out here!
Also, if you DON'T live in the area and want to check this out, I would recommend that you all come down during the weekends. We have special performances on 27th Jan and 2nd Feb, with selected musicians coming down on each day to put up what is set to be amazing performances. For the list of musicians coming down on the specific days, you can go to the Noise Singapore website here. :)

In other very uninteresting news, there's a skeleton of a story in my head begging to be written. It isn't a short story though, which is a first, so I'm a bit afraid of how it will turn out. Most people who know me and read my stories know that a lot of times, I write about my own experiences or I write to let out certain emotions which grip me at that moment in time. Thus, I know that a novel would be a challenge because it's definitely a long-term commitment and I'm not sure I'm ready for it. However, my friend, Ibrahim, is begging me to write it, so we'll see!
